Munay Ki means I Love you in the Quechua language.

Munay- Ki are Nine Rites of initiation for one to become a person of wisdom and power that has accepted the Stewardship for all creation. – Alberto Villoldo, PhD.

The Munay-Ki Rites are available to anyone who asks but those that ask should be prepared to travel an interesting journey being able to connect even more to past and the future! The Laika felt that people would come to the Munay-Ki when they were ready and felt a calling to do so. And as the saying goes the Masters appear when the student is ready.

As you receive the Nine Rites your body starts becoming what the Laika know as a “ Rainbow Body” . Each chakra starts cleaning itself of all past traumas and glowing with their original and intended colors. Once you receive the 7th, 8th, and 9th Rite your Luminous Energy Field starts changing your internal programming for a new aging, healing, and death process. The Nine Rites attunes your body from that of a human to the body of an Angel.

The first four Rites can be given to the Receiver in any order and are given seperately, as a pair, or all at one visit. The order that I like to share with those who wish to receive is the Healer Rite/Hampe, the Seer/Kowak Rite, The Bands of Protection, and the Harmony/Ayni Karpi Rite.

The Healer/Hampe Rite connects one with the EarthKeeper Lineage from the past that assist the receiver on their path to healing themselves as an individual. The EarthKeeper lineage will do their “work” while you are in sleep time or meditation. This comes from the peoples of the highland Q’ero.

The Seer/Kowak Rite reconnects the filaments of your Third Eye and Heart to your visual cortex. This is so that you may “see” and “feel/know” what needs to be done. This comes from the peoples of North Coastal Peru and of the amazon.

The Bands of Protection or Power. There are 5 Bands that are installed into the LEF- Luminous Energy Field which the elements: earth, water, fire, air and pure light near the 2nd to 6th chakras. The Bands of Protection act as filters to absorb anything negative that comes your way, mulches it, and feeding the elements instead of harming you with ills or toxic emotions. This orignated in the Q’ero nation.

The Harmony/Ayni Karpi Rite. In the lower chakras you receive the “seeds” of the archtypes of serpant, jaguar, hummingbird and eagle. In the upper chakras you receive three “archangels” Husacar Inka, Quetzalcoatl, and Pachakuti. These seeds grow with time and assist in the cleansing of the chakras. This rite comes from the lowland Q’ero and the edge of the Amazon.

At this point the receiver must agree to be a Spiritual Steward of the Earth and a Spiritual Vessel to go on to receive the final five Keeper Rites. These final five rites come with great power and great responsibility of the receiver. If the receiver is not ready to handle such a task the “seeds” for the ending results of the Rites will be stored until the person is ready or merely used as a food and will never germinate. The following 5 Rites are done in order.

The Day Keeper/ PampaMasayok Rite. This is the connection to the great medicine people of the Laikas of Q’ero region, those that honored the way of Mother Earth and the Feminine. This allows you to practice peace, travel beyond fear, and to heal one’s feminine side. The Earth must be strong before the mountains are placed and the feminine needs to be set before the masculine.

The Wisdom Keeper/ Altomesayok Rite. This is the connection to the great medicine people of the high mountains of the Andes ( Masculine). This Rite aids you to travel beyond time. The Wisdomkeepers protect the ancient wisdoms and share with those when the time is appropriate.

The EarthKeeper /Kurak Akuyek Rite. This rite connects you with the archangels that are the stewards of all life on Earth and are said to look like humans but be as large as the trees. This rite helps you learn the ways of the seer rite.

The StarKeeper/Mosoq Karpay. This Rite prepares you for the time to come (~2012) and is said when you receive the Starkeeper Rite you acquire stewardship of times to come and all the future generations. A great responsibility is placed upon you. Some also claim that it changes your physical body in the aging and healing process.

The Creator/Taitanchis Rite. The word Taitanchis means “God”. By receiving this rite your God-light is awaken and you must accept the stewardship of all creation. This is the last and final rite that was finally shared with and made available for the world by the Inka elders of the Andes in 2006.

THE 12 LAWS OF KARMA

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

1. THE GREAT LAW -
“As you sow, so shall you reap”. This is also known as the “Law of Cause and Effect”.
Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us.
If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Love, Friendship…Then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving and a True Friend.

2. THE LAW OF CREATION -
Life doesn’t just HAPPEN, it requires our participation.
We are one with the Universe, both inside and out.
Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state.
BE yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have present in your Life.

3. THE LAW OF HUMILITY -
What you refuse to accept, will continue for you.
If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative,
then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence.

4. THE LAW OF GROWTH -
“Wherever you go, there you are”.
For us to GROW in Spirit, it is we who must change – and not the people, places or things around us.
The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES
and that is the only factor we have control over.
When we change who and what we are within our heart
our life follows suit and changes too.

5. THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY -
Whenever there is something wrong in my life,
there is something wrong in me.
We mirror what surrounds us – and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth.
We must take responsibility what is in our life.

6. THE LAW OF CONNECTION -
Even if something we do seems inconsequential,
it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected.
Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on.
Someone must do the initial work to get a job done.
Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance,
As they were both needed to accomplish the task.
Past – Present – Future
They are all connected…

7. THE LAW OF FOCUS – You can not think of two things at the same time.
When our focus is on Spiritual Values, it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.

8. THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY -
If you believe something to be true,
then sometime in your life
you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth.
Here is where we put what we CLAIM that we have learned,
into actual PRACTICE.

9. THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW -
Looking backward to examine what was,
prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW.
Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams…
Prevent us from having new ones.

10. THE LAW OF CHANGE -
History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path.

11. THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD – All Rewards require initial toil.
Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil.
True joy follows doing what we’re suppose to be doing, and waiting for the reward to come in on it’s own time.

12. THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION -
You get back from something whatever YOU have put into it.
The true value of something is a direct result of
the energy and intent that is put into it.
Every personal contribution is also a contribution to the Whole.
Lack luster contributions have no impact on the Whole, nor do they work to diminish it.
Loving contributions bring life to, and inspire, the Whole.

Munay Ki part 1 of 5 – Healing the luminous body

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

The Munay-Ki are a series of nine rites brought to western society by Dr Alberto Villoldo, a medical anthropologist who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Inca shamans for over 25 years.

Dr Villoldo learned and studied the rites of the Inca Shamans with a number of mentors over a period of years living with them in the Andes Mountains of Peru [1]. As he describes in his book Shaman Healer Sage[2] , he travelled for more than ten years with his first mentor Don Antonio Morales throughout the Andes and the Amazon to accumulate and distill the shamanic knowledge of these peoples. From this distilled knowledge, Dr Villoldo assembled the Munay-Ki as a series of rites derived from Inca traditions, but stripped of some of the elements of the cultures they came from intending respect. [1]

Dr Villoldo writes that the rites derive from the great initiations from the Hindus Valley that were brought to the Americas by the first medicine men and women who crossed the Bering Strait from Siberia during the glacial period some 30,000 years ago, and who were known as the Laika, the Earthkeepers of old [3]

The nine rites of the Munay-Ki were first given together and including the ninth rite, the creators rite in 2006.

The Munay-Ki rites are initiations, which Dr Villoldo says are intended to help the initiate become a person of wisdom and power [3].

Dr Villoldo describes how the Munay-Ki rites give us access to what he terms “luminous beings”, and which he notes Buddhists call Bodhisattva [4]. He indicates they are spiritual allies.

Initiates generally both receive the rites, and are taught how to pass them on and in turn teach them. Recipients are asked not to charge specifically for passing the rites on, though it is considered acceptable to recoup costs or to charge for coaching initiates through understanding the changes the rites bring to their lives. The rites are offered in workshops or 1:1 in most countries around the world.

The Rites

Chakras Diagram

The rites are grouped into three categories and are given in the order shown below [5]

  • The foundation rites
    • 1 – Healers Rite
    • 2 – Bands of Power Rite
    • 3 – Harmony Rite
    • 4 – Seer Rite
  • The lineage rites
    • 5 – Daykeepers Rite
    • 6 – Wisdom Keepers Rite
    • 7 – Earthkeepers Rite
  • The rites to come
    • 8 – Starkeeper’s Rite
    • 9 – Creator Rite

The rites are said to plant seeds in the energy fields of the chakras.

Fire Ceremonies

Candles used in fire ceremony

Following receipt of the Munay-Ki rites initiates are encouraged to engage in fire ceremony rituals, to maintain and grow the gifts received in the rites. A fire ceremony is done for each rite. The initiate meditates with their focus on the fire from a candle, and drawing the warmth of the fire into the chakras that were the focus of the specific rite, while opening their heart and mind to the theme of the rite . It is recommended that initiates engage in the fire ceremonies for each ritual between daily and weekly to grow the gifts of the rites, [6]

The Energies

The various rites involve invoking a range of powers and energies including the following:[7]

  • The lineage of the Laika
  • The power and medicine of the South, Serpent
  • The power and medicine of the West, Jaguar
  • The power and medicine of the North, Hummingbird
  • The power and medicine of the East, Great Eagle
  • Huáscar, Lower world and the subconscious
  • Quetzalcoatl, Middle world
  • Pachacuti, Times to come
  • Daykeepers
  • Wisdomkeepers
  • Earthkeepers
  • Starkeepers
  • Spiritkeepers
  • Earth, Pachamama
  • Water
  • Fire & Sun
  • Wind & Air
  • Light

The rites call these energies to move into various of the initiate’s chakras, with the energies and chakras involved varying from rite to rite.
